VT01  Video-recording Your Lectures  (2 hrs.)

Prerequisite: you must be able to log into Blackboard.  For assistance, see this page.

Many faculty members have expressed interest in video-recording their lectures. Some seek to accommodate distance-learners. Others want to make it easier for their on-campus students to review a lesson. Still others want to video-record their lectures so that students can view the lectures online—in preparation for more interactive activities during class time. Therefore, this workshop will teach faculty members how to use Tegrity to video-record classroom lectures and how to post the content in Blackboard for students or send a link to others.
Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to do the following:

  1. Record a lecture.
  2. Post the recording in Blackboard for your class.
  3. Copy videos from one Blackboard class to another.
  4. Share the recording with external reviewers.

*STANDBY ONLY* on this date and time: 5/10/2018 from 10:00am to 12:00noon
